Discover the prediction of a 500% surge in XRP price by 2028 and how Ripple is making strides to dominate the altcoin market.

Standard Chartered Bank predicts that the price of Ripple (XRP) will reach $12.50 by 2028, marking a 500% growth and surpassing Ethereum (ETH). This forecast is linked to reasons such as the approval of an Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) leveraged on Ripple, Ripple’s leadership in tokenization, and institutional acceptance. Jeffrey Kendrik, the bank’s Global Head of Digital Asset Research, believes that by the end of 2028, Ripple will become the second largest digital asset by market value after Bitcoin (BTC). Kendrik also forecasts that the SEC will approve Ripple Spot ETF in the third quarter of 2025, attracting an initial capital inflow of $4 to $8 billion. He further anticipates Ripple’s price to reach $5.50 by the end of 2025, $8 in 2026, and ultimately $12.50 by 2028, remaining within that range in 2029. Ripple has entered the US financial system and through various significant developments, including launching leveraged futures ETFs and registering with CoinBase to initiate XRP futures trading, it has taken significant steps towards its expansion. Additionally, Ripple’s acquisition of Hidden Road, a financial services company worth $1.25 billion, marks a new milestone in integrating XRP into international brokerages and facilitating asset settlements.
