Matthew Sigel, the head of digital asset research at VanEck, stated that if the proposed bills for strategic Bitcoin reserves are approved in US states, approximately 247,000 Bitcoins worth $23 billion could be purchased. Currently, 19 US states are considering legislation to hold digital assets, with Arizona and Utah having already passed this law. In a recent development, Texas has introduced a bill to establish an investment fund in Bitcoin and other high-market-value digital currencies. This projected amount is more than the 198,100 Bitcoins held by the federal government.
