Following news of the start of negotiations between Iran and the US, the price of Tether (USDT) in domestic exchanges entered a downward trend, dropping over 3,000 Tomans in just an hour. Last night until around 11 PM, the Tether price was around 106,000 Tomans. However, after the news of negotiations emerged, the price trend shifted downwards, reaching 103,000 Tomans in just six hours. This downward trend continued, and by around 4 AM on April 8, the Tether price hit 98,000 Tomans. It is worth mentioning that at the time of writing this news, Tether’s price has partially recovered from this decline and is at around 99,000 Tomans. It should be noted that after the announcement of negotiations, the price of the dollar and gold coins also decreased. Currently, the dollar is trading around 98,985 Tomans, and gold coins are trading around 90 million Tomans.
