Tether’s CEO, Paolo Ardoino, stated that they are not worried about the potential ban of their main stablecoin USDT in the United States. Tether is working on creating a new stablecoin compliant with US regulations, specially designed for the domestic market. According to Ardoino, Tether plans to offer two distinct products with different values; one for emerging markets and the other for the US payment system. Despite criticisms for not providing complete financial audits, Ardoino emphasized Tether’s highest level of cooperation with regulatory bodies and ongoing negotiations with major firms for thorough audits.
