Tether's status in Europe amid MiCA regulations. Some exchanges delist while others support. Regulatory transparency awaited. Deadline for compliance.

As the deadline for the implementation of ‘MiCA’ regulations on January 1, 2025 approaches, the fate of Tether (USDT) in the European Union remains unclear. While some exchanges like Coinbase have delisted Tether in Europe, others such as Binance and Crypto.com continue to support this currency. Experts suggest that exchanges may be waiting for more transparency from regulatory authorities. According to MiCA regulations, companies offering digital currency services before the mentioned date have until July 1, 2026, to obtain necessary licenses or cease operations.
