Paolo Ardoino, the CEO of Tether, highlighted that with over 400 million USDT holders and 35 million new wallets added each quarter, this stablecoin is considered the most successful tool for maintaining US dollar dominance in the global financial system. He stated on social media that Tether has established the widest physical and digital distribution network in developing countries over the past decade and as the eighteenth largest holder of US Treasury securities, any attack on the company could be seen as an attack on US dollar hegemony.
