Sonyum introduces exclusive NFT music collection in collaboration with Coop Records.
Sonyum, a blockchain platform owned by Sony, announced the release of its first NFT music collection today in partnership with Coop Records. The collection features unreleased music from Tokyo-based producer NUU$HI, available on the Sonova NFT marketplace. Priced at 0.00077 ether (equivalent to $2.11), this 22-minute music NFT has already sold 644 copies. Coop Records, having released over 600 songs on the blockchain, aims to address the unfair profit distribution issue among labels, streaming platforms, and artists using blockchain technology. Sonyum launched its main network on January 14th and has attracted over 248,000 users.
