The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has acknowledged CoinShares’ request to launch an Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) for Ripple (XRP), intensifying the competition to introduce this product in the U.S. This is the fourth XRP ETF application approved by the SEC, following Grayscale, 21Shares, and Bitwise, with Canary Capital and WisdomTree’s applications still pending. According to predictions from the Polymarket platform, there is a 78% chance of this product being approved this year.
