Ripple expands in Europe through partnership with Unicâmbio, offering fast cross-border payments. Recent reports show significant capital inflows and potential market sentiment shift towards XRP.

According to reports, Ripple (XRP) has expanded its presence in Europe through a collaboration with Unicâmbio, a Portuguese cryptocurrency exchange. This partnership enables fast and efficient cross-border payments between Portugal and Brazil. Using Ripple, Unicâmbio’s corporate clients can experience instant and low-cost payments, eliminating traditional payment processes and enhancing the efficiency of the financial transfer system. Ripple has previously collaborated with Travelex Bank and Mercado Bitcoin in Brazil. Travelex has been using Ripple’s payment network since 2022, and Mercado Bitcoin, the largest Latin American cryptocurrency exchange, implemented this solution in late 2024. With this collaboration, Ripple is active in over 90 payment markets, covering around 90% of daily forex transactions (over $70 billion). In the past five weeks, digital asset investments have reached $7.3 billion, with demand continuing to rise. According to CoinShares, $1.3 billion in new capital was attracted to the market this week. Ripple attracted $21 million in capital inflows this week, but more interestingly, $152 million worth of XRP has entered since the beginning of the year, which is 330% more than Solana. This shift in focus has drawn attention as Solana has been dominant in the market for the past year and a half. Some analysts believe this trend may indicate a change in market sentiment towards Ripple and could lead to XRP growth.
