Discover the struggles of new digital tokens, PROMPT and KERNEL, despite listings on major exchanges. Learn why sustainability, not exchange support, is crucial for long-term success.

According to published data, new digital currencies, Wayfinder (PROMPT) and Kernel Dao (KERNEL), have faced a significant price drop after their initial growth. Despite being listed on reputable exchanges, their double-digit declines have raised doubts about the stability of new tokens in the crypto market. PROMPT is a utility and governance token owned by the Wayfinder foundation, utilizing artificial intelligence for blockchain communication. This technology automates smart contracts, transactions, and algorithmic trading. The PROMPT token was launched on April 10, 2025, with users being able to receive it on Ethereum (ETH) and Base networks. The digital currency initially soared by 233.3% to its peak price of $0.60 but failed to sustain the increase. Subsequently, its price dropped by 46.3% to $0.33 and experienced another 29.2% decline in the past 24 hours. Kernel Dao has experienced a similar situation. Belonging to the Kernel Dao restaking protocol, its airdrop began on April 14, 2025. Despite an initial 5% growth, the token’s price further dropped by 29.8% to $0.32. Reports indicate that 89% of tokens listed on Binance are in a negative position this year. This demonstrates that listing on major exchanges is not a guarantee of long-term success; investors must pay more attention to project sustainability in a saturated market.
