The High Commission for Regulating Virtual Spaces in the country has approved the objectives and policies of the digital currency regulations document. This document consists of two sections: establishing a national digital currency and organizing global digital currencies in four main areas: production and supply, storage and maintenance, secondary market and exchange, and design services. The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, in collaboration with the Judiciary, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Communications, Ministry of Energy, Central Bank, and FaraJa, has developed this document. The National Financial Security Council of the Ministry of Economy will be responsible for supervising the implementation of the document, tasked with aligning guidelines with overarching policies and resolving potential ambiguities.
