Open Builders, the development team behind NFTCoin, has announced the launch of the Not Games platform in March. The project aims to strengthen the NFTCoin ecosystem by introducing games that allow users to earn free tokens. Despite the decline in user interest in Telegram-based mini-games, NFT Games is not an independent game on Telegram but an ecosystem composed of several different games. This ecosystem will provide shared profiles, unified inventories, and an internal market for item exchange among players. NFTCoin will be used as the primary currency for purchases, upgrades, and rewards instead of scattered tokenomics models. This structure increases the use cases of NFTCoin, transforming it from a simple income-click system to a valuable asset in the gaming economy. Currently, Open Builders has released a game called VOID and confirmed that at least five more games are in development. NFTCoin gained popularity in 2024 due to the trend of click games, attracting millions of players. However, Google Trends data shows a loss of interest in NFTCoin in 2025. Even after being listed on the Kraken exchange in February 2025, its price only briefly increased and then continued its downward trend. Data from the Artemis platform also indicates a sharp decrease in daily active addresses on the TON network. This significant user decline poses a major challenge for NFTCoin in building a sustainable ecosystem.
