Is Jack Dorsey the real Satoshi Nakamoto? A new theory suggests a possible connection between the founder of Twitter and the creator of Bitcoin.
Sean Murray, a financial news editor, claimed on social media that Jack Dorsey, the founder of Twitter, may be the mysterious creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto. He found multiple similarities between Dorsey’s life and the early history of Bitcoin, including his mother’s birth on the date of the first Bitcoin transaction and his father’s birth on the day Satoshi mined the last block. Critics, however, have found numerous contradictions in this theory and believe it’s unlikely for the creator of a decentralized currency to later become a platform manager with strict regulatory policies.
