Will the SEC approve the new Solana ETF listing requests? Learn about the latest developments and challenges surrounding Solana ETF approval in the US.
The Cboe BZX Stock Exchange has submitted new requests for listing four Solana (SOL) ETFs to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). These requests, filed under the 19b-4 process, involve proposals from four companies: VanEck, Kinner Capital, Bitwise, and 21Shares. The initial requests sent to the SEC in 2024 were withdrawn at the Commission’s request. Now, after re-registering the requests, the formal review process has commenced, and a more precise timeline will be set for their approval or rejection. This stage is part of the overall review process for approving Solana ETFs in the United States.
