Bojan Božović, the Justice Minister of Montenegro, has issued an order for the extradition of two fugitives, founders of the Transform Labs, to the United States. This decision comes after months of legal disputes between the US and South Korea over his trial. The Supreme Court of Montenegro had previously confirmed that all legal prerequisites for the extradition of the two fugitives had been met. After reviewing all conditions, including the severity of the crimes and the nationality of the suspects, the Ministry of Justice decided to accept the US request. The two fugitives are accused of misleading investors and concealing assets related to the collapse of the digital currencies TerraUSD and Luna, resulting in the disappearance of around $40 billion from the digital currency market. He was arrested in March 2023 at the Podgorica Airport with a fake passport and sentenced to four months in prison.
