The Japanese company Metaplanet, also known as ‘Asia Strategy’, has acquired 2,100 Bitcoins, owning 0.01% of the total supply of this digital currency. Recently, the company purchased an additional 68.59 Bitcoins worth approximately $6.6 million at an average price of $96,335 per unit. Metaplanet has successfully raised $20 million in the first two days of the ’21 Million’ plan. According to this plan, Metaplanet has issued 21 million shares of zero discount options and aims to raise around 116 billion yen ($745 million). Metaplanet has stated that this raised capital will be allocated to buying more Bitcoins. Currently, Metaplanet shares are trading at 6,260 yen with a 1% growth.
