Japanese company Metaplanet, also known as ‘MicroStrategy Asia,’ has announced a massive $745 million fundraising program to increase its Bitcoin reserves. Over the past eight months, Metaplanet has acquired 1,762 Bitcoins and now plans to purchase a total of 21,000 Bitcoins in the next two years. The company has issued 21 million shares of zero-discount purchase warrants and aims to raise approximately $745 million to buy more Bitcoins.
