Metaplanet announced on Tuesday that it has acquired 269.43 Bitcoins worth approximately $26.4 million. With this new purchase, the total Bitcoin assets of the company have reached 2,031 units, valued at around $196 million at current prices. Metaplanet, which bought its Bitcoins at an average price of $80,700, has made a profit of 16% so far. The company, which recently issued 4 billion yen worth of zero-coupon bonds, aims to increase its Bitcoin assets to 21,000 units by 2026.
