Japanese company Metaplanet has added 619.7 Bitcoins (BTC) to its asset portfolio with a $60.7 million investment, increasing its total Bitcoin assets to 1,761.98 units worth approximately $169.2 million. This purchase was made after the issuance of two-stage bonds between December 17th and 20th and the acquisition of 9.5 billion yen from the EVO fund. Metaplanet’s active Bitcoin investment strategy has shown remarkable results, with the company’s returns reaching 309.82% in the recent quarter. The company predicts its annual income to grow by 240% to $5.8 million in 2024.
