Fred Thiel, the CEO of Bitcoin mining company Marathon Digital, stated in an interview with CNBC that the value of Bitcoin could reach between $150,000 to $200,000 by the end of the year. He pointed out the high demand from retail and institutional investors and mentioned that whenever a large sale occurs, buyers enter the market and maintain the price between $95,000 to $100,000. Thiel identified factors driving the price increase such as a more favorable regulatory environment and the acceptance of Bitcoin by private and government entities. He also referred to the limited supply of Bitcoin and the possibility of strategic reserves of Bitcoin being created by governments that could further increase the price.
