Marathon Digital CEO predicts Bitcoin to hit $200,000 by 2025. Strategic adoption and demand growth expected to drive price surge.
Fred Thiel, the CEO of Marathon Digital, forecasted in an interview with David Lin that Bitcoin (BTC) will experience a 108% growth by the end of 2025 after a price correction to the range of $80,000 to $90,000. He believes the strategic adoption of Bitcoin by the US and other countries, along with the entry of retirement funds and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) into the market, could drive price growth. Thiel emphasized the supply constraint of Bitcoin and the loss of about 4 million units, stating that demand growth could significantly impact the price.
