Argentinian media reported that Hayden Davis, one of the creators of the Libra token, proudly mentioned in his text messages paying money to Carina Milei, sister of Javier Milei, the President of Argentina, to promote this meme coin. According to La Nacion newspaper, Davis, CEO of Kelsier Ventures, wrote in a message to a digital currency investment company manager that by paying money to Milei’s sister, he could control the President. He also claimed that he could force Milei to tweet and promote this token. Milei, in an interview, denied the allegation of promoting the Libra token and stated that she only provided information about it. It is worth noting that Karina Milei is currently the Chief of Staff of the Argentine Presidency and is considered a very close and influential advisor to her brother.
