Ledger CEO stresses digital currency security after recent exchange hack
Pascal Gauthier, the CEO of Ledger, emphasized the importance of security in the world of digital currencies in an interview with Bloomberg regarding the recent $1.5 billion hack of Bybit exchange. He advised users not to keep their digital currencies in exchanges, stating that wherever there is money, hackers will be there. Gauthier, whose company has sold 8 million hardware wallets so far, mentioned that Ledger has been working to improve its security protocols over the past 10 years to provide a secure solution for storing digital currencies.
