Jupiter Exchange has surpassed Raydium in Total Value Locked (TVL) and transformed into the second-largest protocol on the Solana blockchain. This growth follows recent decentralized exchange advancements. According to DefiLlama data, Jupiter’s TVL saw a 5% increase in the past week, reaching $2.87 billion. The rise caused Raydium with a $2.70 billion TVL to drop to the third position. Jupiter’s TVL growth followed positive developments announced during Istanbul 2025 event. The exchange disclosed acquiring significant shares of Moonshot and SonarWatch to launch a Solana-based investment basket tracker. Moreover, it committed to allocate 50% of its protocol fees for JUP token buybacks and planned to burn 3 billion tokens. These announcements boosted activities in the exchange, leading to a considerable TVL growth. The JUP token also responded positively to these changes and faced increased demand recently. Despite slight daily setbacks, the JUP/USD chart suggests a potential uptrend resumption. Currently, the On-Balance Volume (OBV) indicator for this token is in an uptrend, reaching its all-time high of $1.3 billion. OBV indicates the money flow in and out of an asset and can predict price trends. When this indicator rises, buying pressure increases, and increased trading volume usually accompanies price growth, indicating a potential uptrend. Moreover, the Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) indicator is in the positive range at the level of 0.11. This indicator also measures the money flow in and out of an asset, with its positivity indicating buying pressure and asset accumulation in the market. Currently, if demand increases, the price may cross the $1.22 resistance level and reach $1.46. Conversely, if selling pressure intensifies, the token price may likely drop to $1.08.
