Hamster Network, a new Layer 2 chain for the popular Telegram game Hamster Kombat, has been launched on the TON Network blockchain. The developers aim to provide a fast and scalable infrastructure for games and other applications, designed with minimal transaction costs. Developed in collaboration with TON, Hamster Network plans to introduce Telegram users to the world of digital currencies through mini-apps and interactive games. The network operates with the TON virtual machine, and its smart contracts are fully compatible with the TON network. Initial infrastructure includes wallets, asset transfer bridges, and decentralized exchanges. Additionally, the Hamster Boost program has been launched to reward participants during network testing. The second season of Hamster Kombat, now called GameDev Heroes, has recently begun. Despite a significant drop in the HMSTR token price and active players, the project continues to develop.
