The Layer 2 network of Hamster Combat, which had initially surpassed Solana in transactions per second (TPS) for a brief period, is now facing a significant decline in activity. Just two weeks post-launch, the transaction volume on the Hamster Combat network has plummeted by a staggering 99.9%, raising concerns about the long-term sustainability of this project. Despite reaching a record of 34,021 transactions per second in early March, the network currently processes only 0.84 TPS and has executed just 52,516 transactions in the past 24 hours, a drastic drop from the approximately 150 million transactions on the launch day.
