The Babylon protocol, in collaboration with the Axelar platform, has made it possible to self-custody stake Bitcoin (BTC) on over 70 blockchains. Users can stake their Bitcoins in Proof of Stake (PoS) networks without the need for intermediaries, enhancing the encrypted network security. Babylon also announced the launch of its new blockchain, Babylon Genesis, powered by CometBTF technology from the Cosmos ecosystem and supported by its native token, BABY. By connecting Babylon to Axelar, the BABY token will be accessible on over 70 different blockchain networks, providing wider access to the Babylon Genesis ecosystem.
