Galaxy Digital predicts Bitcoin to hit $185,000 and Ethereum to reach $5,500 by 2025. Expert analysis on digital asset market trends.
Galaxy Digital’s research arm has released predictions for two top digital assets in 2025. Alex Thorn, the head of research at Galaxy Digital, predicts that Bitcoin will surpass $150,000 by mid-2025 and approach $185,000 by the fourth quarter. He also expects Bitcoin exchange-traded products (ETPs) to reach $250 billion in total assets under management. Regarding Ethereum, Thorn forecasts its price to exceed $5,500. He believes that reduced regulatory pressures on DeFi and staking, along with new collaborations between DeFi and traditional finance, will propel Ethereum to new levels. Thorn also anticipates more companies experimenting with Ethereum-based layer 2 networks.
