FTX user repayment program details and schedule
The repayment program for the bankrupt FTX exchange has become active since January 3rd. Users need to submit their requests through the official website to be eligible for repayment. According to the program, users with claims under $50,000 are considered ‘priority classes’ for repayment. Repayment for this group will be completed within the next 60 days. The approved repayment plan predicts that 98% of users will receive 119% of their declared funds. These repayments are part of the final stages of FTX’s bankruptcy proceedings that began in October 2022. Some users have criticized the valuation of assets based on 2022 prices, as the price of Bitcoin has increased by over 400% since then.
