Volatility Shares has registered two exchange-traded funds (ETFs) based on Solana futures contracts with symbols SOLZ and SOLT on the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) list. These are the first Solana-based products to be listed on DTCC. This move, following the launch of Solana futures contracts on the Coinbase derivatives exchange, has increased hopes for the approval of a Solana spot ETF. Eric Balchunas, a senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg, says that although registration with DTCC does not mean readiness for trading, it indicates issuers are preparing trading infrastructure.
