Daniel Roberts, CEO and founder of IREN, predicts that the market value of Bitcoin (BTC) will surpass gold by 2030. With gold hitting a new record of $2,848 per ounce, Roberts believes Bitcoin needs to reach at least $900,000 for it to surpass gold. He sees Bitcoin as a digital and improved version of gold, which is easier to transfer and divide. This view is endorsed by prominent figures like Cathie Wood, CEO of Ark Invest, Mark Cuban, billionaire entrepreneur, and Jerome Powell, Federal Reserve Chairman. Currently, the market value of gold is $19.3 trillion, while Bitcoin stands at $1.95 trillion.
