ZachXBT, a digital currency researcher, reported the activation of wallets linked to the famous hacker known as the Blockchain Bandit after 5 years. In 2018, this hacker successfully stole over 50,000 Ethereum from 10,000 wallets by finding weak private keys on the Ethereum network. Now, the hacker has transferred 51,000 Ethereum worth over $172 million from 10 different wallets to a multi-signature wallet. Analysts believe this asset consolidation could indicate preparation for large transactions, money laundering, or even financing new attacks.
