The market value of altcoins has decreased by approximately 42% since its peak in December. Ethereum (ETH), the world’s largest altcoin in terms of market value, experienced a 17.3% price drop in the past month. Other major coins like Ripple (XRP), Solana (SOL), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Cardano (ADA) have also seen a decline between 14% to 30%. Analysts believe that for the start of altcoin season, Bitcoin’s dominance (BTC) must decrease. Technical analyst, Rekt Capital, says the altcoin season will begin after Bitcoin’s dominance drops below around 71%.
