Ethereum’s value against Bitcoin has reached its lowest point in over 5 years. The ETH/BTC ratio has decreased to 0.027, the weakest level in this period according to CryptoQuant data. This downward trend started after Ethereum’s transition to Proof of Stake (PoS) network in 2022, and since then, its ratio to Bitcoin has plummeted by almost 70%. Ethereum’s situation worsened after the approval of Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs in the US. Bitcoin ETFs experienced an inflow of over $40 billion, while Ethereum ETF products attracted much less investment. Digital currency analyst James Cheek also noted that in 77% of trading days, the performance of ETH/BTC has been negative, describing this recent decline as severe.
