The Ethereum Foundation (EF) has introduced its new leadership structure. Instead of having one executive director, the foundation now has two co-executive directors. According to the announcement, Xiao-Wei Wang and Thomas Stanczak have been appointed as the co-executive directors. This appointment signifies a strategic change in the leadership structure and an effort to support the growing Ethereum ecosystem. Interestingly, the former executive director, Miyaguchi, will now serve as the head of the Ethereum Foundation. Wang, previously involved in community development in Taiwan and the Beacon Chain, brings seven years of research experience to the Ethereum Foundation. Stanczak, the founder of Nethermind, is another co-executive director who is expected to bring technical expertise and growth to the Ethereum ecosystem. These changes may pave the way for new innovations in the Ethereum ecosystem. Meanwhile, in an unofficial poll, the Ethereum community strongly supports Danny Ryan, a former EF researcher. However, in the new leadership structure, Ryan will work as a co-founder of Etherealize, a new institutional entity within the Ethereum Foundation.
