Elon Musk negotiating blockchain use in new Trump department
According to informed sources, Elon Musk, who heads the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under the Trump administration, has started negotiations to utilize blockchain technology in this department. Established by Donald Trump’s executive order on January 20, the department aims to use the digital ledger for reducing government costs, tracking federal expenses, securing data, and managing payments. Before Trump’s inauguration, Musk employed about 100 volunteers to write the code for his projects. This initiative, part of Trump’s efforts to strengthen the digital asset industry, must finalize its recommendations by July 4, 2026.
