He stated on social media that tax regulations require a ‘massive reset’ as they are tormenting the American people. Musk also announced the launch of the Efficient Government Department (D.O.G.E) initiative aimed at reducing government overhead costs. This program claims to cut $1 billion daily from federal expenses and aims to increase this figure to $4 billion. Musk believes these actions can help control inflation. He also accused the government of wasting taxpayers’ money and warned that continuing current spending could lead the US towards financial bankruptcy.
