A large Bitcoin wallet that had been inactive for a decade suddenly became active, moving millions of dollars worth of this digital currency. According to data from the Whale Alert platform, an old Bitcoin address has transferred 357 Bitcoins worth $34,070,177 after 11 years. Data from BitInfoCharts shows that this wallet had been inactive since January 2014 and has gained a profit of 10,150%, equivalent to $33.7 million, with the rise in Bitcoin’s price. Recently, old wallets have received small amounts of Bitcoin, possibly due to dusting attacks to identify their owners.
