Some social media users claim that the reciprocal tariff plan of Donald Trump was possibly designed by artificial intelligence. Users on the X social network (formerly Twitter) allege that by asking simple questions from ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Grok, they obtained the same tariff calculation formula used in Trump’s plan. Ryan Petersen, CEO of Flexport, says the formula is simple: ‘They divided America’s trade deficit with each country by our imports from that country.’ The digital currency market dropped by 5% after this news.
