China takes measures to stabilize Yuan by restricting US dollar purchases.
As the value of the Yuan has dropped to its lowest level in recent years amidst the trade war, the Central Bank of China has unofficially instructed state-owned banks to halt the purchase of US dollars. Moreover, monitoring of customer’s dollar purchases will increase to prevent speculation and maintain the stability of the Yuan.
