Bybit offers $140 million reward to catch digital currency thieves
Digital currency exchange Bybit, based in Singapore, has set a reward of up to $140 million for information leading to the recovery of funds stolen in the recent $1.4 billion hack of the exchange. Last week, hackers successfully stole around $1.4 billion worth of Ethereum from Bybit by manipulating a transfer from a cold wallet. Bybit announced a recovery reward program to identify the thieves, with the reward amounting to 10% of the recovered sum, or up to $140 million for a full recovery.
