The price of Bitcoin (BTC) has remained around $95,000 in the past 24 hours with a partial recovery. Just a few days ago, this digital currency had reached a historical peak price of $108,000. Recent Bitcoin price performance has significantly impacted the overall digital currency market, but experienced investors consider this situation temporary. However, a prominent engineer has predicted that the biggest Bitcoin bull run will start soon, based on the M2 index. Ted Boydston, a crypto analyst and engineer, forecasts a new bullish phase for Bitcoin. He refers to the formation of a price oscillator in the M2 index showing buying and selling signals. The M2 index, which examines liquidity in circulation including cash (M1), current deposits, and similar instruments, is a key economic indicator affecting financial markets, including the digital currency market. Boydston’s analysis indicates that based on the Percentage Price Oscillator (PPO) criteria, in the lower section of M2, a buying signal is evident, entering the green zone. Historical reports confirm that such signals typically accompany widespread money printing and the beginning of a Bitcoin bull phase. These periods usually follow with price volatility and rapid Bitcoin value growth. However, an exception in 2016 occurred where the active buying signal did not trigger due to the Bitcoin Halving event being the primary factor for the price increase. Meanwhile, the next Bitcoin price target, previously $100,000, has now changed to $225,000. According to Ted’s analysis, each Bitcoin cycle usually reaches its peak at the 0.382 Fibonacci level, and if these data are applied in the current cycle, the Bitcoin price could reach $225,000. Another analyst predicts this price target will be realized in June 2025, with an upward season for altcoins following thereafter.
