According to data, the performance of the Solana (SOL) Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) compared to similar Bitcoin products has not been very impressive. Analyst Eric Balchunas states that Solana ETFs only recorded $1 million in trading volume in the initial days, which is 80 times lower than Bitcoin ETFs during the same period. Initial estimates suggest that Chicago Stock Exchange Solana ETFs had only $12 million in trading volume on their first day, while Bitcoin had $102 million and Ethereum had $31 million. In the price adjustments in the first quarter of 2025, Solana performed 50% weaker than Bitcoin. The main question now is whether the trend will continue if the Solana spot ETF is approved or if trading activity in Solana will pick up.
