Ethereum’s founder, Vitalik Buterin, warned about the risks of digital currencies issued by politicians, describing them as complete tools for corruption. This warning came after the launch of Trump (TRUMP) and Melania (MELANIA) meme coins by Donald and Melania Trump on the Solana (SOL) platform. Buterin explained that buyers of these currencies could indirectly provide financial support to their issuers by claiming to invest. Meanwhile, Senator Elizabeth Warren and Representative Jake Auchincloss have called for an investigation into these meme coins. The value of Trump meme coin is currently $33.87, showing a 9.7% decrease from the previous day.
