Nvidia, previously manufacturing its products in China, has announced the commencement of producing artificial intelligence chips and cloud computers in the United States due to tariff wars. The company plans to invest around $500 billion in building AI infrastructure in the next four years. Production has started at TSMC factories in Phoenix, Arizona, with others under construction in Houston and Dallas. Moreover, Nvidia will collaborate with companies like Amkor and SPIL for packaging and testing the chips. In response, Donald Trump has pledged to expedite all necessary licenses for Nvidia and similar companies as part of the ‘American Golden Age’ initiative to support domestic production and competitiveness in the technology sector.
