Matt Hougan, the Chief Investment Officer at Bitwise, believes that the purchase of Bitcoin (BTC) by large companies will see a significant increase soon. He likens this trend to the adoption of Bitcoin Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) which initially started with specialized digital currency firms and then expanded to major financial institutions. Hougan predicts that soon major companies like BlackRock may allocate 5 to 10 percent of their massive cash reserves to Bitcoin.
