According to Arzdigital, a police representative at the Blockchain Association event announced the official launch of the ‘SIMA’ system starting next week. Instead of blocking all exchange accounts, this system will only block accounts of users involved in suspicious transactions. Mirzaei explained that ‘SIMA’ system with features for inquiry, blocking, and refund will specifically investigate suspicious and criminal wallets, excluding exchange hot wallets from this inquiry. The main goal of the ‘SIMA’ system, as stated by the police representative, is to inform exchanges about the entry of suspicious funds into their platforms. This system assists exchanges in being aware of potential risks and taking necessary actions without disrupting their regular activities. Mirzaei announced that the ‘SIMA’ system will officially go live from next Saturday and can play a significant role in enhancing security and transparency of cryptocurrency transactions.
