The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved the New York Stock Exchange Arca’s request to register the Cardano (ADA) spot ETF proposed by Grayscale. This fund allows investors to benefit from ADA price changes without directly holding Cardano. NYSE Arca submitted its proposal for listing and trading the fund’s shares to the SEC on February 10, marking the first step in the review process. Following this approval, SEC will announce its final decision soon. This approval comes amid increasing approvals of digital currency ETF requests by the SEC, including Ripple (XRP) and Dogecoin (DOGE) ETFs by Grayscale.
