According to a new report by CoinGecko, the volume of digital currency transactions on centralized exchanges reached $18.83 trillion in 2024. The study shows that Binance led with a 39% market share and $7.35 trillion in transactions. Bybit and Crypto.com followed with $1.75 trillion and $1.29 trillion respectively. Despite a 134% increase from 2023, transaction volume has not yet reached the record $25.21 trillion in 2021. Crypto.com also experienced the highest growth among centralized exchanges with a 969.7% increase. Smaller exchanges saw significant growth while the market share of older exchanges decreased.
