According to a recent survey by Kraken exchange, 85% of digital currency investors in America have invested in meme coins, with 76% believing the potential profits justify the risks. Price fluctuations, fear of missing out, recommendations from friends and family, and entertainment value are cited as the main reasons for investing in meme coins. However, 36% of investors allocate less than 10% of their portfolio to these assets, with only 5% investing more than half of their capital in meme coins. Additionally, Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) remain the most popular meme coins.
